ESTRELLA DAMM ALREADY PRODUCES 100% OF ITS BEER WITH 100% BIODEGRADABLE CARDBOARD RING

Estrella Damm has permanently eliminated the plastic rings from its cans, and since December 1^st, 2020, it has been producing 100% of Estrella Damm with the new LatCub grouping rings, made of 100% biodegradable cardboard. The commitment to eliminate the plastic rings was the final message of the media campaign last summer: Act III. Commitment. And the commitment, once again, has been fulfilled.

The Estrella Damm LatCub is made with natural fibers from trees managed in a sustainable and responsible way, and it is a pioneering project in the beer sector. Now, the Catalan brewery already projects a new commitment for 2021: the replacement of the decorated plastics that group the packs of cans and make it cardboard.
